Terms of Use

Effective: 14 May 2026

1. Acceptance

By using jirisuder.eu or the Letesh app you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Service description

Letesh is a web application for studying technical English vocabulary using spaced-repetition flashcards. The service is currently offered "as is", without warranty of availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.

3. Account & eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to register an account. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must consent on your behalf.
  • Provide truthful information when registering, especially your email.
  • Keep your password secret — we are not liable for damage caused by disclosure on your side.
  • The account is non-transferable.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, are inactive for an extended period, or upon your request.
  • Account deletion: use Settings → Account → "Delete my account" in the app for instant self-service deletion (password-confirmed). Alternatively email jiri.suder.92@gmail.com — we remove your data within 30 days. Local browser storage (study data) is yours to clear via your browser at any time.
  • Data export: use Settings → Account → "Download my data" to download a JSON copy of everything we hold on you (GDPR Art. 20).

4. Acceptable use

You may NOT:

  • Register accounts automatically (scripts, bots).
  • Attempt to access another user's account (brute force, social engineering, phishing).
  • Attack the infrastructure (DDoS, exploit attempts, scraping beyond normal use).
  • Upload illegal, abusive, or harmful content as custom cards.
  • Reverse-engineer the service to redistribute it as a competing product.

5. Intellectual property

  • The source code of the website and app is owned by the operator.
  • The pre-loaded "Tech English Basics" deck (427 cards) is the operator's content, provided for your personal study.
  • Cards you create or import remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and sync them solely to provide the service to you.

6. Limitation of liability

The maximum aggregate liability of the operator for any claim arising from the use of this service is limited to 0 EUR while the service is offered free of charge. This limitation does not apply to damages caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

7. Service & terms changes

  • We may change, limit, or discontinue parts of the service at any time without notice.
  • These terms may be updated; the current version is always on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

8. Governing law & consumer rights

These terms are governed by Norwegian law, reflecting the operator's place of residence. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory protections of the law of your country of habitual residence — these terms do not deprive you of them.

Disputes may be brought before the competent Norwegian court. Out-of-court consumer dispute resolution is available via:

9. Accessibility

We aim for the service to be usable for everyone, including people with disabilities, and target WCAG 2.1 AA as a guideline. The service has not yet undergone a formal accessibility audit. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please email jiri.suder.92@gmail.com and we will address it as soon as practically possible.

10. Force majeure

We are not liable for service interruptions or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to outages at our hosting provider, network failures, denial-of-service attacks, natural disasters, or changes in applicable law.

11. Severability

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. The invalid provision shall be replaced by one that comes closest to its original intent and is legally enforceable.
